I posted this quote on my Instagram a few days ago, and the more I’ve thought about it, the more it rings true. The 52 Lists Project has definitely provided some much need introspective time. And one of the things I’ve been realizing is how much I have been pushing away my silly side. Even something as normal as singing in the car, lately my drives have been more about listening to talk radio. Maybe that’s just part of the changes one goes through in their 30’s, but some of it just feels like a departure from the things that make me happy. That’s why I love this quote so much, my time spent with Danno seems to bring back out the side of me that’s been missing.
So one of my goals this week as I continue to work through my book is to put on my favorite music and sing as loud as I want on my commute to work. So if you’re driving into Bellevue this week, watch out, my singing is pretty bad 🙂
