Saturday thoughts

Just dropping by tonight for a quick post because I have to be at the airport at 4am!

On Friday afternoon I decided to jump straight up at my office and was shocked to find that my hand hit the ceiling. This has never happened before and trust me, I have tried so hard over the years to make this happen. So why was this time so different?

Two words: consistency and patience.

Results take dedication to a program and pushing through even on those days where you just don’t want to. Trusting in a system and listening to your body each and every day is essential.

Beyond this, understanding that it takes a long time for real changes to happen is vital. We all want results now, but the body doesn’t work that way.

For me it took 6 months! And I’m not done, the work never stops. But at least today I can celebrate because my vertical has increased 4 inches in that time. It’s nice to know that even in my mid 30’s I can break through barriers and improve my performance.

Remember, consistency and patience 🙂
