Kick it up a notch 

Your workouts don’t always have to be sets/reps/10 min long planks/hour runs and so on.

Sometimes deciding to think out of the ordinary is exactly what your body and mind need! 

I find this comes in handy on a week like this when I’m not feeling particularly motivated to push and pull the big weights around.  Instead, I took on a challenge that got my heart rate up and trashed my legs!……….1000 kicks!

Some were standard, some involved jumps or quick movements.  But the key was to set a goal and push myself as hard as possible.  30 minutes and a lot of sweat later the challenge was complete!  No weights lifted, and my legs felt as if I maxed out on squats.

Fingers crossed I can walk in the morning!
