Yesterday I mentioned how out of the box this challenge was for me, and Day 1 proved that even more!
TKD and hiking are my two activities that I push hardest on, but when it comes to the gym, I tend to stick to bands, the cable machine and core work, especially during golf season.
Today I took on a workout called the Breathless Burn:
The goal is to set a timer for 25 minutes and see how many times you can perform these four exercises safely. I started with 15 pound dumbbells and then dropped to 10s because my form was starting to fail. When it was all said and done, I survived 9 full rounds! My goal is to do this workout again towards the end of the challenge and see if I can beat that number by at least 1.
And yes, that's stomach sweat you see in the picture, I was dripping!!!
On a separate note, I'm now one week into our other office challenges. After drinking 20oz of water every morning for 7 days, my skin looks brighter, my lips are less dry, and I feel way more awake in the morning. I also feel like I have to keep running to the bathroom!
