There is something to be said for having a plan and putting it on paper. How many times have you gone to the gym and wandered around unable to commit? Or started on an exercise only to get distracted or bored?
I started an exercise this year where I write out my workouts in a white board at the gym. This has made a huge difference in my ability to focus on the task at hand but it’s also fun because I have this huge library of workouts now!
This was a workout I did at my house this week during the holiday break. It’s really hard for me to workout at home, but this did the trick! There’s nothing fancy about it, the key is picking exercises I enjoy and setting a timer to have a goal.
Before your next workout, try sitting down and putting pen to the paper!
