A Tale of Tight Traps

Do you ever have tightness in your upper back, traps or neck?  Here is a great way to release that tension using a lacrosse ball and the wall!

It’s pretty easy to set this up, but a little painful especially if it’s tight!  Just place the ball against the wall and push against it until you find the sweet spot.  I like to move my arm across my body or sometimes I will put my arms across my chest and then rock side to side massaging the painful spot.  If you don’t have a lacrosse ball, a golf ball or even tennis ball works well!  And for some extra relief, put the ball in the freezer and you are able to combine soft tissue release with icing!
