Sometimes it can be this simple….
Put a timer on for 30 minutes, pick a handful of exercises that will keep the heart pumping and go to town!
My days of using running for steady state cardio are behind me but doing sessions at a moderate level are essential to recovery. And as a golfer, it’s super helpful in the quest for better endurance. Fun fact, my heart rate ranges from 75-125 most rounds I play and that’s over the course of 4-5 hours. That means that when you approach training specifically for golf, you need to satisfy both the aerobic and anaerobic aspects of the game. In the course of the week, fitting in 1-2 moderate cardio sessions in addition to higher intensity intervals will get the job done. As always, be sure to pick exercises that will allow for you to maintain good form and function throughout!
Happy St Paddy’s Day!
