This post from Meghan Callaway was spot on! And perfect timing because I had a question posed to me this week regarding a difficult exercise being performed at the end of a workout.
These are words to live by in the gym! Simplicity is the key to success and it’s amazing how often trainers can get hung up in trying to make things too difficult. Form is king, and as your workout progresses and fatigue sets in, it becomes harder to maintain. So why on earth would you attempt high neurologically demanding exercises at the point where your neurological system is fried?
Place those early on in the workout when it’s safest and finish with movements that you know you can own!
Most importantly, if you’re not following Meghan Callaway on social media, stop what you’re doing and find her now!
