Monday Rehab: Instant Pot Salmon Edition

I’m taking a break from fixing an exercise and instead showing you how I fixed dinner tonight!

Let’s face it, if I wasn’t married to Harry, my dinner menu would be sad.  Don’t get me wrong, I can make a handful of dishes, but after a long day at work sometimes pizza is just easier. 

I am determined to improve in this department though.  Tonight I took on salmon, one of my favorite fish to eat but one I do not have patience for arriving home at 7:30pm. 

Instant Pot to the rescue!! This was so easy I may start cooking fish this way every night!

All you need is 1lb of salmon fillets, your favorite seasoning and the Instant Pot.

Put 3/4 cup of water in the bottom on the pot with some seasoning.  Place the steamer rack in with the Salmon skin down.  

I put some Lawrys seasoning salt on it with olive oil. 


Close the lid, press steam and set it for 3min.  Once the timer goes off, do a quick steam release and you’re ready to go!

The end result……


A tasty, healthy dinner that had the added bonus of…..


I’m already looking forward to lunch tomorrow!
