National Taco Day Workout!

Ok, I’m a day late on this. But do you really need a dedicated day to celebrate tacos? They are one of the major food groups in my life, although I am a non traditionalist when it comes to my choice. I actually like BBQ pulled pork tacos with some cabbage on top. Don’t knock it until you try it!!!

Back to today’s workout…..

I like to call this one the #willsweatfortacos challenge named after one of the shirts from my sister in law’s brand Clap For Yoself Apparel!  (If you haven’t picked up a shirt yet, she just restocked!!)

Here is the run down on this workout:

Complete these 4 exercises holding the weight in the right hand, and then repeat on the left.  That is 1 round!

  • 8 Strict Presses
  • 8 Front Rack Squats
  • 8 Split Stance Bent Over Rows
  • 8 Alternating Reverse Lunges

After each round, do 1 minute of cardio (jump rope, jumping jacks, squat jumps, run in place…..basically anything that gets the heart pumping!)

Complete this bad boy 5 times and then head directly home to make tacos!
