I am in love with the gym at the Crowne Plaza HY36 in New York City! This is by far one of the best spaces I have seen in a long time, and the crazy part is that I never encountered a single person in here the entire weekend.
This workout started with an adventure on the Peloton bike………yes, you heard me, this hotel has Peloton bikes available! I’m not much of a cyclist, but I have been dying to try out this program. It gives you access to live cycling classes as well as on demand ones. I will give you more on my review of these this coming week 🙂
After 20 minutes on the bike, I felt great and this ended up being the perfect 10 minute full body blast. Here is the basic set up:
- Suitcase Squat
- One Leg Row
- KB Swing
- Reverse Lunge
Complete all four of these exercises holding the weight in your right hand performing 8 reps of each. Then repeat with the left hand. Follow that with as many pushups as you can do, then start from the beginning! I went through 4 times which took about 10 minutes.
This will definitely become a regular in my workout plan, it kept my heart rate up and my glutes were on fire!
