Swap the gym for some fresh air

This month has been all about the workouts!  I realized today that most of them have been in the gym when in fact my favorite way to get the heart rate up and challenge the body is actually outside on a mountain.

Hiking has always been something I loved to do, but when I found out running was no longer in my future a few years ago, it became my primary source for that wonderful adrenaline high that running used to give me.

So today’s workout is simple, find a mountain and climb up it!  Here are some pictures from a few of my favorite outdoor adventure spots.





The pacific northwest truly is a wonderful place to live!
