Jumping my way to better lungs today

I have been secretly competing for the past few years against a certain Tour Player in the Jason Glass Jump Rope Challenge.  For those of you who have not seen it in action, here is the man himself demonstrating……

When we started this, it included 20 double unders and the goal was a sub 40 second time.  So over the years we have gone back and forth trying to better our times and nearly passing out in the process.  To successfully kill this challenge, you have to be in the zone and just flow from movement to movement.  Any amount of tension and you are toast!

So when Jason reposted this yesterday, I couldn’t help but jump back in to see if I could get a sub 30 second time.

29:19 is the official time on this attempt, although I’m probably going to kill my body this week trying to get 27 seconds.  I feel like with a little bit of clean up on my transitions and some better posture in the double unders and I’m there!

Give it a try and see what you get!

And if you are feeling up for something that will really get the heart rate going……..See how many double unders you can complete in a row!

Happy Jumping!
