Got 10 minutes? Give this quick Kettlebell circuit a try!

This morning I was feeling unmotivated and kept putting off getting my reps in.  All I really wanted to do was put in a mobile Starbucks order and crush the morning bun that tastes awesome after it’s warmed up!  The reality is that I’m a morning person, and if I don’t get my workout in before 9am, chances are it’s going to be hard for me to make it happen.  But I knew I was golfing in the afternoon and my body needs the muscle work in order to function at it’s best.

So today I just told myself “grab a kettlebell, set the timer for 10 minutes and make it happen!”

This is what came out:

  • 15 one arm Kettlebell Swings
  • 5 Offset Squats
  • 5 Windmills
  • 5 Reverse Lunges

You will complete this sequence on each side and that equals one full round.  10 minutes equated to about 4 full rounds and when I glanced down at the end, my heart rate was 150 bpm!

Cardio, stability, power and speed.  That’s how I like my workouts these days, who has time to be at the gym for an hour?

Happy Weekend everyone!
