Got 10 minutes? Give this quick Kettlebell circuit a try!

This morning I was feeling unmotivated and kept putting off getting my reps in.  All I really wanted to do was put in a mobile Starbucks order and crush the morning bun that tastes awesome after it’s warmed up!  The reality is that I’m a morning person, and if I don’t get my workout in before 9am, chances are it’s going to be hard for me to make it happen.  But I knew I was golfing in the afternoon and my body needs the muscle work in order to function at it’s best.

So today I just told myself “grab a kettlebell, set the timer for 10 minutes and make it happen!”

This is what came out:

  • 15 one arm Kettlebell Swings
  • 5 Offset Squats
  • 5 Windmills
  • 5 Reverse Lunges

You will complete this sequence on each side and that equals one full round.  10 minutes equated to about 4 full rounds and when I glanced down at the end, my heart rate was 150 bpm!

Cardio, stability, power and speed.  That’s how I like my workouts these days, who has time to be at the gym for an hour?

Happy Weekend everyone!

I specialize in bringing out the awesome in athletes, especially golfers. 13 years ago I graduated from the home of the 2010 FCS Football Champions (Go Eags!) with a degree in Exercise Science and a broken down body from playing college golf. That lead to my mission to help the world move better, with less pain and killer dance moves. Thanks to the help of my partner in crime Dr. Harry Sese, not only am I playing pain free golf but I get to witness lives change everyday through the power of teamwork. Check out more at our website
